LAUREN GROFF (n. 1978) este autoarea a cinci romane și a două volume de povestiri. A fost recompensată pentru opera ei cu premiile literare The Story Prize, ABA Indies Choice Award și Grand Prix de l’Héroïne Madame Figaro, fiind de asemenea nominalizată de trei ori pentru National Book Award for Fiction și de două ori pentru Kirkus Prize.
