Before becoming a writer Jackie spent twenty years as a news reporter for GMTV, BBC and ITV news, covering major stories around the world including the Kosovo crisis, the Asian tsunami, famine in Ethiopia, the Soham murders and the disappearance of Madeleine McCann. She now combines writing with her job as a presenter on TV shopping channel QVC; she is also an ultramarathon runner and keen gardener.
