Isaac Asimov
Isaac Asimov (1920-1992) este unul dintre „cei trei mari autori” ai literaturii SF, alături de Arthur C. Clarke și Robert A. Heinlein. S-a născut în Rusia, dar la trei ani a emigrat cu familia în Statele Unite. A studiat chimia și în 1948 a obținut doctoratul în biochimie. A publicat peste 500 de cărți (romane, culegeri de povestiri, popularizare științifică, memorialistică și poezie). Opera sa principala constă în trei mari serii: Imperiul, Fundația și Roboții. Seriile sunt publicate integral la editura Paladin.
