Oscar Wilde
OSCAR Fingal O'Flahertie Wills WILDE (16 octombrie 1854–30 noiembrie 1900) a fost un prozator, poet şi dramaturg de origine irlandeză. Apărut mai întâi în Lippincott's Monthly Magazine, în iulie 1890, apoi, revizuit, în 1891, în volum, Portretul lui Dorian Gray este un roman în care îşi adună şi rafinează ideile filozofice şi care a stârnit un adevărat scandal, fiind folosit, în procesul intentat mai târziu, ca dovadă a homosexualităţii sale.
